The Sunwapata River gives way to Sunwapata Falls, near the town of Jasper in the Canadian Rockies. One of the most unique places I've ever seen. The small island in the centre of the river with gorgeous fur trees defies all logic. How could this tiny spot withstand the constant forces of rushing water.
I hiked down to the cliff edge and found my spot, a rock face covered in moss was the perfect perch.
