In south Iceland a glacier lagoon named Fjallsárlón sits at the base of one of he largest glacier masses on the planet. This glacier toe has a face 300’ tall. When I arrived I found a guide with a zodiac boat. After a bit of planning we loaded up and headed onto the lagoon. From a safe distance we cut the engine and I used a long lens to capture the texture of the glacier. It was humbling to be next to this giant force of nature that is thousands of years old.
